| Introduction | This is just me writing about my life in general, the fun things that I do at home. I like to try new recipes, find old ways to do things so it is healthier. I am trying to replace all my products with homemade concoctions. Mainly working on skin care and hair products but moving into cleaning supplies as well. I am a novice sewer, I can't read a pattern but still manage to make really cool stuff without them, I like to use as much recycled material for this as I can. I love refashioning things from thriftstores and garage sales. I want to do things like grow my own food and live off the fat of the land and hunt for my food, I killed my first deer a few days ago. It is exhilarating to provide for yourself and even better to teach my daughter that she can too. |

| Favorite books | I love to read. I have read millions of books. My daughter is the same. I couldn't possibly pick any favorites. I read everything from Philip K Dick to Tolstoy, I love it all. Browsing the nonfiction rows of the downtown library is fun for me, I could wonder for hours and find books about sewing, art, cooking, gardening, the world, business,health, philosophy...everything. |
